Downtown band je nastao kada su Mrlje prestale sa radom. U gradu tada nije bilo ni jednog aktivnog Rock`n rool banda i Downtown band se prihvatio nezahvalnog zadatka da spasi rock`n roll u nezapamćenoj ekspanziji turbo folka. Trojka Dacha,Boki i Darko je samo nastavila iz Mrlja a pridružio nam se Rile bivši basista Mrlja i član mnogih Knjaževačkih rock grupa.
