Welcome when the chestnut and lime-trees are in the bloom, make your stay in Knjazevac enjoyable by walking through the hundred years old avenues of trees and surrender yourself to the magic around you.

Even if you wish to see the surroundings of Knjazevac, the magic doesn’t stop. The old Roman fortress Timacum Minus at the village of Ravna, together with a garden of monumental Roman stones and graves (a lapidarium) as well as a wine museum, capture the spirit of some ancient times. If you set out towards Stara Planina Mountain , only 5 kilometres from the town, you will reach Baranica , a popular picnic ground with a small like which makes it ideal for swimming and fishing. If you continue your journey, in the village of Donja Kamenica you will encounter the oldest church in this area – the church of Sveta Bogorodica (Mother of God) . Do not miss this opportunity! The Sveta Trojica (Holy Trinity) Monastery is located only a few kilometres from Donja Kamenica and is not much younger. Nuns who live in the monastery paint icons and other religious objects. When you reach Kalna, take a look to your left. What you are about to see in the distance is the mountain peak Babin Zub on Stara Planina Mountain . In case you prefer skiing, fresh air, hiking, untouched nature and hospitable people, do not hesitate to visit this mountain beauty.
